Sloan Gallipeo has been taking pictures for twenty years. Inspired by the past masters who worked for Time-Life magazines, she believes in the profound power of photography as both a means of artistic expression and a way to chronicle the ever-changing course of human history. But mostly, she just simply enjoys capturing the everyday ebb and flow of life - those moments that are so precious to us all: A child's soft smile. A father's worn hands. The breath-taking, inspiring majesty of a mountain's shadow...

Her joy is reflected in the faces of the people she captures for a family album or the irreplaceable times in our lives that are gone too soon but can be relived over and over again because there is a photographic record of that moment.

The challenge of framing those times in a perfect photo is something she never tires of doing. Photography has always been a passion, a life long dream. Sloan lives that dream each and every day she puts lens to eye and freezes time through her photographs.

Sloan expresses her soul through her camera and her heart through her community work.  She is a member of the Idyllwild Art Alliance and the Huntington Beach Art League and also an active volunteer in the Orange County CA community, helping with the Assistance League of Huntington Beach and Olive Crest fundraising.
